Being able to communicate well is an invaluable skill in today’s business world. Lee Iacocca, the former CEO of Chrysler said, “You can have brilliant ideas but if you can’t get them across, your ideas won’t get you anywhere.” But if you can communicate your ideas effectively, you can go just about anywhere.
Improvisers are constantly observing and communicating with their partners. This give-and-take is the essence of improvisation and also the essence of teamwork in a working environment. Using a variety of verbal and non-verbal exercises, we will train your team to be more in tune with one another, listening to what is said and what is unsaid, and equally importantly, learning how to gauge whether your messages are being received.
As a stand-alone activity, this workshop will provide participants with new insights into effective communication. As part of a one-day or multi-day retreat, this workshop can be tailored to set the tone for the retreat, or to serve as a stress-release after a long day thinking, training and planning.
This workshop will help open the channels of communication at your office. Get your team members talking—and listening—to each other in a whole new way.
