DESCRIPTION:Looking for a bit of non-committal\, no experience necessary improv comedy to spice up your weekend? We’ll be hanging out at Mr. Pickwick on Sunday from 11:15-12:45 (Pickwicks opens at 11am so we can’t get in before. We’ll start around 11:15am) – join us for some fun improv games! \n\n\n\nIf you’ve watched ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ or one of the Renegade Saints’ improv comedy shows and thought\, ‘Gee\, that looks cool!’\, here’s your chance to join the fun! It’s barmy\, it’s silly\, and it’s guaranteed to make even the grumpiest Glocals-er crack a smile. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are good for anyone\, whether you’re looking to laugh off the stress of the workweek\, get a little more self-confidence\, or work on some performing skills towards that acting career you’ve always wanted. This is a safe environment for all levels of experience where fun is the priority. We will run through some basics of improv\, group warm-ups and exercises with emphasis on fun and collaboration. We are pumped to welcome Anděl for four open workshops for the Geneva (and Swiss) improv community – there’s something for all levels!  \n\n\n\n***  \n\n\n\nMove Dat Ass (no experience needed\, beginners welcome!) We all have bodies. They are incredible things and yet we spend a lot of time not moving them. Pulling from physical theater\, clowning\, dance and just plain PLAY\, this workshop will explore our body’s relationship to improvisation\, our scene partners\, and ourselves. We will move\, play\, and get out of our heads and into our bodies. Great if you love to move\, better if you don’t. Come give voice to that thing you live inside all the time. This workshop is designed to meet you where you are and we will practice full body autonomy. This workshop will be active\, experiential and accessible. She was born in Chicago\, raised in California and moved back to Chicago at the tender age of 17 to study comedy and improvisation. DESCRIPTION:Looking for a bit of non-committal\, no experience necessary improv comedy to spice up your weekend? We’ll be hanging out at Mr. Pickwick on Sunday from 11:00-12:30 – join us for some fun improv games! \n\n\n\nIf you’ve watched ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ or one of the Renegade Saints’ improv comedy shows and thought\, ‘Gee\, that looks cool!’\, here’s your chance to join the fun! It’s barmy\, it’s silly\, and it’s guaranteed to make even the grumpiest Glocals-er crack a smile. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are good for anyone\, whether you’re looking to laugh off the stress of the workweek\, get a little more self-confidence\, or work on some performing skills towards that acting career you’ve always wanted. This is a safe environment for all levels of experience where fun is the priority. We will run through some basics of improv\, group warm-ups and exercises with emphasis on fun and collaboration. (We usually stick around for brunch after) \n\n\n\nTotally free and no experience necessary! Our first love is short-form improv – playing fully improvised comedy games à la ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ \n\n\n\nBlending a range of backgrounds in typically Genevan international community style\, we performed our first show together in 2014\, and we now perform regularly in the city.
